Previewing
Preview your document before publishing to see how it will look and explore it from your readers’ perspective.
Previewing gives you the opportunity to review the layout, check how the content flows and test interactive elements, so you can identify any changes needed before sharing it with your audience.
We recommend that you view as you go and regularly preview your document as you work on it.
There are two options available for previewing your document, both of which can be found in the top palette in TigerDesigner:
Page Preview
This option is ideal for when you want to view and check the content for the specific page that you are working on. As you work on your content you'll find that you use this option regularly.
Version Preview
The recommended option when you wish to view every page along with any additional settings, such as a security rule, style or menu. Any elements such as mandatory interactivity and automation will be fully tested this way, and you'll get the same experience that a visitor would.
Blurry images?
When you use the preview option within Designer, images Won't fully render (this is so a preview can be created quickly for you to view) so you may notice that your images look slightly blurry or lower quality.
Don't panic though - your images will still look great once you publish, as long as they are high resolution and plenty big enough for the image panel they're used in.
Preview not loading?
If Single Sign-On (SSO) or Reader Login security rule is your applied security rule, preview features such as 'Page Preview', 'Version Preview' and 'Accessibility' may not load correctly. This happens because the system attempts to display a login screen, which cannot be rendered in preview mode.
To allow it to load, please change the security rule temporarily to 'Disable Search Engines' while you are designing so you can preview correctly.
Make sure to set it back to your desired security rule when finished and ready to publish.
