A summary of the latest updates and improvements made to PageTiger

New

  • The 'Join a Mailing List' is now called 'Subscribe', and supports Expected Visitor Lists, so readers can sign up and automatically join an email list.

Use the 'Subscribe' module to help readers sign up for TigerMailer mailings and Courses. Read more about the update here.

  • 'Jump to Page' module clicks are now tracked in analytics, bringing it in line with other modules. As this is a new feature, historical jump click data is not available for periods before this release.
  • 'Play YouTube' modules now support YouTube Shorts, so you can add short-form portrait videos by pasting the Short URL directly.

  • 'More Information' modules no longer support custom JavaScript, reducing security risk by removing the ability to run arbitrary code within a module. Existing JavaScript added before this update will continue to work as before.

Improvements

  • Image Gallery pop-ups now display with a cleaner, edge-to-edge layout.
  • Logo panels now updates immediately on first selection when choosing a different logo option in a Layout Library document.
  • Pinch-to-zoom is now always available on mobile devices, with the Styles zoom setting applying to desktop only.
  • A clearer error message now displays when attempting to paste a panel that's since been deleted.

  • Colours set for Assessment Results now update reliably.
  • Document preview cards for Tiger Genius documents with a double-page spread as the first page now display the correct page.
  • Bulk Translate now handles longer translated text more reliably.
  • Keyboard-based page turning is now more reliable.
  • Manually expiring a badge is now more efficient.
  • Updating subtitles on an uploaded video now saves and displays correctly.
  • Unpublishing a document using an inline style, including where a published version is set as a TigerKit, now completes successfully, or gives an appropriate message if it can't proceed.
