Can readers sign up to my mailing list without being added manually?

Yes - they can add themselves to your EVL via the 'Subscribe' interactivity module. 

Once the reader clicks this interactivity, they will input their details and get a confirmation email sent across to them with the email they have inputted.

After they have confirmed their email via the link sent to them they will then be added to the EVL.
