A summary of the latest updates and improvements made to PageTiger

New

  • The 'Subscribe' module now uses email confirmation as standard, ensuring every subscriber has genuinely opted in for cleaner, more engaged lists, and stronger data protection.

Pending sign-ups are visible within the Expected Visitor List, and unconfirmed email addresses automatically delete after 7 days.

  • The 'Subscribe' module's Automation and Mandatory settings have been streamlined to show only the options relevant to sign-ups.
  • Subscribe and unsubscribe notifications can now be set up directly on an 'Expected Visitor List', sending detailed alerts whenever someone joins or leaves.

  • Custom roles now include a dedicated AI permissions group, enabling finer control over each AI feature. (Enterprise feature).

  • Webhooks are now available in the Public API, providing instant, signed notifications when jobs such as document version creation complete.
  • PageTiger now uses up-to-date browser compatibility data, keeping performance and support aligned with modern browsers (Internet Explorer 11 is no longer supported).
  • COMING SOON - Reader Login now offers emailed passcodes as an optional alternative to passwords, which authors can switch on per security rule, giving readers a quick way in even if they've never set a password (Modern Interface only).

Improvements

  • Video handling has been improved to ensure every video links to a valid file and displays smoothly.

  • Reader Login has been refined so readers signing in without a linked document are taken to the classic interface My Account screen.

  • Accessible mode has been improved for smoother keyboard navigation with NVDA, keeping panels steady and correctly displayed while moving through pages.

  • Interactivity configured with TigerGenius settings now keeps all its settings when copied and pasted, making it quicker to reuse across documents.

  • Charts now keep their dimensions and remain clear and readable when working in the Accessibility tab.

  • Styles apply the selected heading font to pop-up headings, giving more precise control over typography.

  • API credit usage is tracked consistently between the Public API and the Admin usage meter, so remaining credits shown in Admin > My Account > API Keys reflect what's available for API requests.

  • Image gallery tooltips now load seamlessly alongside each image, giving smoother paging between images.
