Account Manager

About this role

Work with leading brands to extend usage of our digital document design software. Base salary £45,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience. On-target earnings £130,000.

As a Tier 1 Account Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of high value business customers ensuring each is getting value from their subscription while extending usage into new departments, nurturing deeper and wider relationships, increasing both user numbers and sales revenue.

Expectations

Highly educated and a minimum of three years of successful sales in a SaaS environment with a proven track record of consistently hitting, and preferably exceeding, both expansion and renewal targets.

Experience

Client relationship management:
Building strong relationships with existing clients by regularly communicating and meeting with them, addressing any concerns, and ensuring they are satisfied with the software and service.

Expansion:
Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within global organisations by presenting solutions to clients and closing deals to increase revenue.

Contract negotiation:
Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients, ensuring that the agreement is mutually beneficial and meets the company's commercial objectives, important to be commercially minded at all times.

Market analysis:
Staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to identify new expansion opportunities, also important to remain up to date with client activity and have an increased understanding of the wider landscape of all managed accounts.

Customer feedback and support:
Gathering customer feedback and using it to improve the software and overall customer experience, as well as providing ongoing technical support to clients in certain situations. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the client has all they need and remain satisfied with the platform.

Reporting and analysis:
Providing regular reports and analysis of sales performance versus target, software usage, customer satisfaction, and other relevant metrics to senior management, ensuring senior management are kept up to date with key Tier 1 client activity

Remuneration

  • Base salary of between £45,000 and £60,000 dependent on experience
  • On target bonuses paid monthly totalling £130,000 per year
  • Annual profit share bonus
